The Bachelor fan favorite Catherine Giudici is grieving after sharing the loss of her father.
The season 17 winner took to Instagram to pay tribute to her dad, Carey Couper Giudici, who passed away on Saturday, May 10. He was 77 years old.
Catherine took to Instagram with a carousel of photos to break the sad news. She wrote, “Bye Daddy. I love you. See you soon ❤️Carey Couper Giudici 4/3/48-5/10/25”
She had a lot to share, filling up the carousel with a mix of 20 photos and videos to show off the good times with her dad, starting with a sweet father-daughter embrace. Other additions included Mr. Giudici reading bedtime stories to his grandkids, singing, enjoying life and celebrating Catherine and Sean Lowe‘s wedding.
Bachelor Nation was quick to weigh in with their support. Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison wrote, “Sending you and your family my love. God bless his soul.”
Trista Sutter wrote, “I am so so sorry, Catherine. Sending prayers up that your family is wrapped in strength and love in this difficult time. ❤️”
Carey’s twin brother, John Couper, was the first to report his death. He shared the sad news on Facebook along with a photo that included Catherine, her two sisters, India and Monica, as well as four of his grandchildren.
John wrote, in part, “A few hours ago, my twin brother Carey passed away in Mexico with trouble breathing but ready to embark on his next journey. The big photo is our last together, last September in the Istanbul airport. Photos below show him recently with his daughters and grandkids.”
