Despite having what seemed to be a strong initial connection, according to Reality Steve, Jenn and Jonathon don’t get engaged at the end of The Bachelorette season 21. During week 2, Jenn and the contestants traveled to Melbourne, Australia, where Jonathon participated in a group date comedy roast. The following week in Australia, he went on another group date, which was a male stripper revue coached by dancers from Thunder Down Under. Jonathon won the contest on the date.

During The Bachelorette season 21 week 4, Jenn and the guys went to Auckland, New Zealand, where Jonathon participated in a rugby group date. In week 5, Jenn finally chose Jonathon for a one-on-one date, which was teased in one of the Bachelorette previews. Jonathon and Jenn took a helicopter ride to a winery. In week 6 in Seattle, Jonathon was on a group date in which the guys participated in a radio call-in show, during which Bachelor season 13 married couple Jason and Molly Mesnick also appeared.

Jonathon received one of Jenn’s hometown dates, which filmed on May 2 in Los Angeles. He then made it to her Final 3 overnight Fantasy Suite dates, which took place in Hawaii. However, Jonathon was eliminated at the rose ceremony and didn’t get engaged to Jenn. Jenn’s Final 2 men were Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg. Jenn got engaged to Devin, while Marcus was her runner-up. As far as Reality Steve knows, Jenn and Devin are still happily engaged. It’ll be interesting to see why Jenn decides to eliminate Jonathon since they already seem to be forming a strong connection.

So far, Jonathon has been one of the most captivating Bachelorette season 21 contestants. He kept everyone guessing about what he looked like for the whole premiere episode, which kept the attention on him. This was a smart move to make himself stand out among the 24 other competitors for Jenn’s heart. He seems like a lot of fun, but also very romantic. In a perfect world, Jenn would leave The Bachelorette season 21 engaged to the love of her life, and Jonathon would become the next Bachelor.
