Everything You Should Know About the Newest Bachelorette, Jenn Tran

Season 21 of The Bachelorette starts on July 8 and Bachelor Nation can’t wait to see the latest love journey starring Bachelorette Jenn Tran.

Jenn was previously a contestant on The Bachelor as she attempted to find love with Joey Graziadei. During his season’s After the Final Rose special, host Jesse Palmer confirmed that Jenn would be the latest Bachelorette.

During that episode, former Bachelorette Charity Lawson said: “I can say that our next Bachelorette is someone who is intelligent. She’s witty, she’s fun, and she’s super kind. And personally, I want to see a lot more of her and I can only hope that out of this experience that she’s getting ready to embark on that she really does find true love.” Let’s take a look at who Jenn is ahead of the season premiere on Monday.

Who is Jenn?

Jenn is a 26-year-old physician assistant student from Miami, Florida. She took time away from school and put her career on hold to try and find the love of her life.

In an Instagram Reel, she said she was “so lucky” that her academic advisor and school were supportive of her decision to take time away from the show. She also loves to travel.

She’s the first-ever Asian-American lead on The Bachelorette with her family hailing from Vietnam. During Joey’s season, she said she was excited to talk about her heritage with Joey, so we can probably expect Jenn to want to share about her family with the men vying for her attention this season.

What has Jenn’s love journey been?

She appeared in Joey Graziadei’s season and was eliminated in the seventh week right before Hometowns. Jenn is excited to find love and told Jesse Palmer on After the Final Rose that she was “overwhelmed” but wants to leave the show with “a ring on my finger.”

Jenn told the host: “I hope I find my person, someone that I truly feel like is 100%—my perfect match and someone who I’m compatible with.”

When she made her entrance on The Bachelor, instead of stepping out of a limo Jenn drove up in a go-kart. When she posted a photo of her and Joey on Instagram in matching go-karts during the premiere, she captioned it: “I’d race to the end of Rainbow Road for you.”

Who will be vying for Jenn’s love?

Last month, ABC announced the 25 men who will be competing for Jenn’s affection. One of the men, Aaron, 29, might look familiar because his twin brother found love on Bachelor in Paradise.

They’ve also gone through their own heartache, as Brendan, 30, admitted in his bio that his last girlfriend left him for his best friend. Another contestant, Jahaan, 28, founded his own company and was featured on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
