The Bachelor season 28’s Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson have been under fire after rumors of their financial struggles have been circulating, but one Bachelor Nation alumni is speaking up about their take on the couple. Joey, who originally competed as one of the men on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette, didn’t find himself successful in finding love, but became a Bachelor Nation favorite. After being offered the leading spot of his own, Joey became The Bachelor and met Kelsey during his opening night. The pair’s connection was strong and they quickly fell in love, getting engaged.

After making an appearance on his podcast that caused major backlash for the couple, Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick is opening up about his feelings surrounding Joey, Kelsey, and their financial situation.

“I felt sick to my stomach when I saw the backlash Joey was receiving simply for sharing a financial mistake he made while filming,” Jason shared in a recent Instagram post. During the podcast episode, Joey shared that his credit had taken a hit after he missed a payment during his three months away while filmingThe Bachelor, which caused the internet to spiral about his finances.
