The road for Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren wasn’t as easy as 90 Day Fiance fans saw. They met and had a whirlwind romance that led to pregnancy and a proposal. Sadly, she lost the baby and needed time to heal but Jovi was never there. He was either working a job that required him to be away from home for long periods of time or he was partying with his friends. Jovi loved strip clubs, which Yara couldn’t understand, even when she tried to go to one.
They eventually got married and welcomed a beautiful daughter, Mylah, but Yara always felt like she was falling behind. They started traveling to see where they wanted to settle down. Jovi then pressured Yara to have another child, which she wasn’t ready for. She was still secretly taking birth control pills without him knowing. The drama in their relationship led them to the 90 Day Fiance spin-off, The Last Resort. Yara was furious with Jovi’s partying, especially when he became close to Angela Deem. He also went to a strip club, which she was very upset about. So, did they break up?
According to an ‘Ask Me Anything?!’ segment he did on social media, someone asked if Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya were still together. They noted that the two never appeared in each other’s videos anymore, so that meant they had broken up. He simply said:
“No, we’re not.”
They were recently seen together as a family in Punta Cana on Jovi’s birthday on September 1. They looked very happy and often joked about how people always question their marriage.

It’s unclear whether Jovi Dufren was joking about their breakup or if he actually meant it. He also had people tell him that he looked gay. Jovi posted a photo of himself and Yara Zaya and thanked his followers. When asked about having more kids, he said that he would continue to do so time will tell whether he will comment on whether they are broken up or happily in love. They did eventually appear together in episodes of Pillow Talk and seemed to like each other but again, looks can be deceiving.
