After a full season of dates and dramas, The Bachelor season 28 ended with Joey giving his final rose to 25-year-old Kelsey, a junior project manager from New Orleans, Louisiana. The engaged couple have been getting to know each other as they navigate their new celebrity status and lifestyle. Joey has been the target of significant criticism since his season of The Bachelor came to an end, but Joey recently did something wonderful.

Despite being a happily engaged man, Joey recently went on a blind date with a cute new friend, and it’s likely that Kelsey approved. In July, Joey re-posted an Instagram video of his play date with Chloe, an adorable 3-year-old shelter dog. In the clip, The Bachelor plays tennis with the sweet dog, in hopes of finding her a forever home.
The post has 23.7K likes, and the caption reads, “We’re pairing celebrities and shelter dogs up for the cutest blind date in our new series #DodoDreamDate. In this episode, @JoeyGraziadei spends the afternoon with Chloe.”
Since this Instagram was posted only a few days ago, it’s unclear if Chloe has been adopted yet, but she seems like a great dog. There’s a link in the post for anyone interested in adopting the adorable girl. Everyone who has been criticizing Joey should be able to admit it when he does something beautiful, like helping to care for a shelter dog.

In addition to getting to know each other, Joey and Kelsey have been making plenty of celebrity appearances, growing their influencer careers and traveling the world. Though the stars of The Bachelor season 28 appear to be happy and having a great time, they have yet to set a wedding date.
Some see that as a red flag, but it’s important to remember that Joey and Kelsey haven’t known each other very long, and don’t need to rush into a marriage.

Chloe was an especially cute pooch to spend a day with, and Joey seemed to genuinely have a great time. There’s little doubt that Joey at least considered adopting her himself.
Dogs are amazing, but they’re also a lot of work, and, considering how busy Joey and Kelsey are, it’s not the best time to adopt a new pet.
Not only does the couple travel a lot, they still live with roommates, so it would probably be more responsible to hold off on pet adoption until The Bachelor season 28 star’s lives are more settled down.
