Statler Riley’s Cryptic Clue on Relationship with Dempsey Wilkinson – 90 Day Fiancé Update
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Statler Riley has revealed what happened between her and Dempsey Wilkinson after season 6 ended. Irving, Texas resident Statler, 33, debuted in Before the 90 Days season 6 with 29-year-old Dempsey from Darlington, England. Statler was adopted at birth and having ADHD made her feel like the black sheep of her family. She yearned to move away and decided to settle down in the UK but didn’t tell her long-distance girlfriend about it until they met in person. Dempsey thought Statler was moving too fast, but eventually, they decided to stay together.
Statler currently stars in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 and the show follows her embarking on a new adventure with Dempsey as they take on Europe on an ATV.
However, their journey likely comes to an abrupt halt in the show as revealed by Statler’s latest IG Story.
She shared a simple picture of herself working out, but it was full of hidden meaning. The Story showed Statler’s legs while she was using a leg press machine at her gym. She wrote about how the pre-workout had hit, and she didn’t know whether she was about to “pass out or level up,” with a nervous smile emoji. Although Statler didn’t tag her location, the purple and yellow Planet Fitness branded equipment gave it away. Stater is still in America.
Statler & Dempsey’s Storyline In The Other Way Season 6
Will Statler & Dempsey’s Relationship Survive The Euro Trip?
Planet Fitness doesn’t have any locations in the UK yet where Statler was supposed to be moving with Dempsey. Statler and Dempsey revealed their Euro trip plans during the 90DF Before the 90 Days season 6 Tell All. They revealed how Statler, who works in the finance department at a freight logistics company, was going to keep her remote job and become the sole breadwinner while Dempsey was quitting her job and selling her belongings so they could get a camper van. It was a lifelong dream of Dempsey’s and Statler was feeling brave when she agreed to it.
Statler didn’t think of the logistics of the plan amid her excitement about a new adventure. However, she seemed to develop cold feet later as it involved a lot of decision-making and made her feel overwhelmed. Dempsey had accepted Statler’s offer to move in together in the UK, but living in a camper van meant they were constantly moving. Travel is in Dempsey’s blood because her family is part of the Showman’s Guild, which travels to fun fairs. She’d always been on the move as a child, since her family had done it for many generations.
Statler may not have expected that Dempsey would continue the tradition. She might have simply wanted to settle down instead of not having a permanent home. Statler and Dempsey didn’t have to be in a long-distance relationship anymore because of the van, but they had different outlooks on life. Statler is a worrier and Dempsey isn’t. Statler was intimidated by the thought of living in a van, and it looks like, after a bit of moving around, the American 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star decided to head back home because she simply couldn’t do it.
