Bachelor Joey Graziadei Clarifies He’s ‘Not Broke’ Amid Recent Credit Score Reports
Bachelor Nation’s Joey Graziadei recently took to his social media to clear up the misunderstanding that he is in financial trouble. The Bachelor star confirmed that he is not broke despite his credit score taking a hit.
Considering his relationship with Kelsey Anderson has already been under a lot of scrutiny, Joey thought it best to be upfront about his current financial and living situation.
Choice not circumstance
Another reason Joey was facing speculation about his current financial state is that he moved in with Kelsey and her roommates after his credit score bombed. But he assured fans that one had nothing to do with the other.
In an Instagram story, he set the record straight. “I am not broke. I’m doing just fine,” he explained. “But I am temporarily living with Kelsey and her roommates as a choice to be able to spend as much time as possible with her as she finishes out her lease.”
Joey didn’t shy away from discussing his credit score, too. “But my credit score did, in fact, drop by a substantial amount when I was away on the show,” he admitted. It went from 730 to 650.
He explained that while he was away, he missed “one small payment” during the months he spent filming The Bachelor, which caused the drop. He touched on the topic of Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast.
“I was like, I can’t even get into an apartment building,” he shared.

Since then, he has been able to improve his credit score. This is a good thing as he had also previously agreed to support Kelsey after she resigned from her job to reorganize her life around their new fame and status as a couple.
Plus, the couple has been traveling quite a bit recently from Nashville to Saint Martin to Portugal.
Living with Kelsey has less to do with any financial problems and more to do with Joey wanting to spend time with her and being closer to work possibilities. He had previously been with his sister in Hawaii, and that was proving challenging. So when Kelsey asked him to move in with her, he agreed.
While the situation is temporary, Kelsey loves it. She’s likened them to New Girl and enjoys living with her fiancé and friends.
