Nothing screams “influencer success” like partnering up with one of the most successful retailers in the history of the world, and that’s what The Bachelor 28 couple just did. Kelsey and Joey recently posted a promotional video to Instagram in which they both sell the heck out of an upcoming Amazon Prime Day.
In the clip, Joey and Kelsey wear matching outfits while eating blue ice cream and posing with fans in a pop-up ice cream parlor with a sign that reads, “Big Deal Scoop Shop”.
At one point in the ad, Joey and Kelsey cut a giant cake that looks like a pile of Amazon shipping boxes. The major brand deal is in direct response to recent backlash over how Joey and Kelsey have handled their finances since filming The Bachelor.

Money Matters
Before his television debut as a contestant on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette, Joey was a tennis pro in Hawaii, but he hasn’t taught much tennis since his stint as The Bachelor. This has left Joey in an unexpected financial predicament, as there’s a gap between his tennis career and his new job as an influencer. During a recent appearance on the podcast Trading Secrets, Joey admitted that he was reluctantly relying heavily on four credit cards.
Speaking of credit cards, he also revealed that he had missed some small credit card payments while filming The Bachelor 28, and it hurt his credit score dramatically.
Joey lamented the fact that the hit to his credit would make it harder for him to find an apartment. This may explain Joey and Kelsey’s unique living situation. Apparently, Joey had been living with his sister in between his appearances on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, so Kelsey invited him to move in with her and her multiple female roommates. Since the couple has been traveling so much due to their new celebrity lifestyle, they’re rarely at home, so the situation is currently working for everyone.
For her part, Kelsey quit her job as a junior project manager in Louisiana, as it became impossible to work a corporate job while fulfilling her contractual Bachelor obligations. She intends to return to her job at some point, but if she keeps landing huge Amazon deals, she may never have to go back to an office job again. Hopefully, their newfound success will help the new couple work through any financial issues.

People have to remember that The Bachelor filmed many months before it aired, so Kelsey and Joey had to keep their relationship a secret for a long time. Not that they were very good at it. After The Bachelor season 28 finale aired, Joey and Kelsey were able to go public with their relationship.
Since going public, The Bachelor couple have been busy appearing on popular podcasts, getting photographed for magazines, and posting about their glamorous travel adventures on social media. Joey and Kelsey went on a Hawaii vacation with Joey’s ex, Charity, the former Bachelorette, and Dotun Olukembo, whom Charity picked instead of Joey. The engaged couple also went on a romantic European adventure, followed by an appearance at CMA fest, where they were photographed with the country music star, Jelly Roll.
With all of Joey and Kelsey’s personal and professional obligations, a day job would be almost impossible to maintain.

She Showed A Different Side Of Herself
One of the reasons Joey and fans of The Bachelor fell in love with Kelsey was due to her warmth and soft-spoken vulnerability. However, there’s more to her than that. Kelsey recently posted a TikTok that proves she has the loyalty of a lioness, mixed with the powerful fierceness of a momma bear protecting her cubs.
In the clip, Kelsey responds to a fan comment that reads, “yellow eyes, broke, living with you, no hair, bad credit score, jeez what’s next.”
Under onscreen text that reads, “y’all need to stop believing everything you see on the internet,” Kelsey laughingly acts up for the camera as Joey goes about his business in the background behind her. The post has over 81.8K likes so far, and Kelsey’s caption reads, “Replying to @Summer He has Gilberts Syndrome, is NOT broke, Lives with my roommates for me and his credit score is actually good.” With this one post, she made it clear that she’s not the shy, quiet woman she may seem to be, and Kelsey’s willing to go to war to protect her man.
