Lily Davison joined the crew in Below Deck Mediterranean season 8, but there’s curiosity regarding what she’s been up to after the show. Making her debut in episode 10, the stew hailed from Windsor, a town close to London and home to Windsor Castle. Before appearing in the series, Lily had a background in hospitality, working at prestigious events like Royal Ascot and Wimbledon, where she even served as a manager. Will she return to Below Deck Med season 9?

Despite her extensive experience in the service industry, yachting was a relatively new field for Lily. Before joining the crew of the motor yacht Mustique, she worked on two other boats, including a much smaller 45-foot catamaran. While she was overwhelmed at first, Lily proved to be a natural and could even be a contender for Chief Stew in the future. Beloved cast member Aesha Scott will join Below Deck Med season 9 as the head of the interior, but there’s still hope for Lily in the future.

Since her time on Below Deck Med season 8, Lily became a chef on a yacht. Her experience as part of the interior crew on the hit Bravo series inspired her to pursue a career in the luxury yacht business in the Caribbean. The yacht, Sailing Location, is billed as a luxury 55-foot catamaran that can host up to eight guests and cruises the Bahamas. Chef Lily has gotten quite the promotion, working directly under Captain Nik Dorward, who heads the yacht. Captain Nick and Chef Lily are in a relationship, making them a dream team.

Where Lily was a stew in the series, Jack Luby served as the chef on Below Deck Med season 8. He was one of the more forgettable chefs but almost committed a fireable offense. Despite being reminded by Captain Sandy Yawn not to blur professional lines with a guest, Jack joined them for a drink after preparing their final dinner. Aware of his mistake, Jack felt guilty and informed Captain Sandy. Upon confessing, Sandy humorously pretended to fire him but clarified she was joking. Instead of dismissing him, she issued a stern warning, appreciating his honesty.

Lily’s Journey On Below Deck Mediterranean

She Replaced Natalya Scudder Mid-Season

Lily’s journey on Below Deck Med season 8 began with her introduction as the new stew, stepping in to replace Natalya Scudder. Natalya left the crew after a heated argument with fellow stew Kyle Viljoen, feeling the work environment had become toxic. While some crew members were sad to see Natalya go, others, like Kyle and Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo, were more indifferent. Chef Jack, however, was particularly affected, as he considered Natalya his best friend on board.

Despite her inexperience compared to the rest of the stews, Lily’s background helped her quickly bond with Chef Jack, a fellow Brit, which stirred some jealousy in Kyle. Initially, Lily’s duty on the yacht was handling the laundry, but her lack of experience led to some tension, especially with Kyle, who criticized her for not doing the job properly. Her transition from working on smaller boats to this larger yacht proved challenging, adding to the friction within the crew.

Lily’s personal life also added to the drama on board. There was a potential budding romance with deckhand Max Salvador. However, the stew made it through the season relatively unscathed compared to other cast members.

Will Lily Ever Return To Below Deck Mediterranean?

Lily was a great stew on Below Deck Med season 8, but given her new position as a Chef alongside her boyfriend, Captain Nik, Lily is unlikely to return to Below Deck Med anytime soon. There could be potential if she were to be hired as a Chef, but the former cast member seems happy in her new position. Luckily, Captain Sandy and fan-favorite Aesha will return for Below Deck Med season 9 with a host of new faces for the upcoming season. There’s always hope Lily will return, but she’s having another adventure for now.
