Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson got engaged at the end of The Bachelor season 28, and they recently posted an engagement photo shoot video on Instagram. Joey and Kelsey have known each other for less than a year, but they’re already planning their wedding. The couple met in September 2023, while filming the premiere episode of Joey’s season of The Bachelor. The 28-year-old tennis pro met 32 women that night, a record number for the series, but he gave his final rose to Kelsey, a 25-year-old junior project manager from Louisiana.
In addition to his heart and final rose, Joey gave Kelsey a diamond, and the two ran off into the sunset together, happily engaged. Since then, The Bachelor season 28 stars have been spending every moment together as they travel the world and grow their social media followings. Several months have passed since the couple went public with their relationship, and many are eager for information about their wedding. Though they have yet to announce a date, Joey and Kelsey recently shared their engagement film shoot.

They’ve Been Under Scrutiny
Joey and Kelsey’s engagement film follows the couple as they frolic through an idyllic park. The footage, which the photographer, Captured By Chloe, posted to Instagram, features Kelsey looking gorgeous in a white ruffle-tiered dress while Joey matches in a white shirt and khaki trousers. At one point, he playfully chases and twirls her, and later, they recline by a river. The footage itself is beautiful, and Joey and Kelsey look fantastic, even if it’s a little corny.
At one point in the film, The Bachelor stars look like they feel pretty silly pretending to be romantically whispering to each other in the park.
Though they’ve been in the spotlight since being cast in The Bachelor season 28, Joey and Kelsey have been under quite a bit of scrutiny recently. After filming the show, the couple struggled briefly with their finances and even lived off Joey’s credit cards for a while. Despite their financial disclosure, they were always posting photos of lavish vacations on social media, prompting speculation that they were living beyond their means. Since then, Joey and Kelsey have grown their influencer careers and even got an Amazon Prime Day sponsorship, so things may have improved for them.

Are They Trying Too Hard?
Though these dramatic engagement shoots have become popular on social media, it seems the couple is trying too hard. In March, just days after The Bachelor 28 season finale aired on ABC, Joey and Kelsey were interviewed by Business Insider, and revealed they were already in couples counseling. They explained that they were doing it as a preventative measure because they have different communication styles.
Going to counseling before you need counseling could be a good thing, but it could also be a sign of trouble between Joey and Kelsey.
When Will Joey & Kelsey Get Married?
A Long Engagement
Joey and Kelsey got engaged in November 2023, which is when The Bachelor season 28 wrapped filming. It’s been almost eight months since Joey put a ring on Kelsey’s finger, and the couple have yet to set a date. Kelsey and Joey have addressed the delay, citing the fact that they both have a lot going on and don’t want to add the pressure of planning a wedding to the mix. Part of the problem seems to be about location. Joey lived in Hawaii before becoming The Bachelor, while Kelsey lived in New Orleans, Louisiana.
At this point, they don’t seem to know where they’ll live, even entertaining the possibility of moving to New York.
For now, they are living at Kelsey’s place, with her roommates. The situation currently works for them because they’re traveling so much, but they’ll eventually have to pick a place to settle down in. Nonetheless, this engagement shoot should mean a wedding date announcement is on the horizon.
