In a deeply emotional revelation, Nick Viall and his wife, Natalie Joy, have announced their decision to stop trying for more children following the heartbreak of two consecutive miscarriages within a span of months.

The couple, who welcomed their daughter, River Rose, in February 2024, first shared the news of their initial pregnancy loss in January 2025. Natalie described the experience as the “biggest heartbreak” of her life, expressing feelings of emptiness and grief.

Shortly after, they were surprised to discover they were expecting again. Natalie shared on Instagram, “While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again. It took some time for me to accept what had happened, only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast.” 

Tragically, this second pregnancy also ended in miscarriage. Natalie underwent a dilation and curettage (D&C) procedure, which she admitted was “harder than I imagined.” She added, “It’s going to take some time for me to feel like myself again, and honestly, I may never will.”

In the wake of these losses, the couple has decided not to pursue further pregnancies. Nick expressed his anguish, stating, “It breaks my heart to see my wife go through this pain.” They have chosen to focus on their daughter, River, and their healing journey rs on her neck and his on his right hand with a halo over it.

Their openness about their experiences has resonated with many, shedding light on the emotional toll of miscarriage. As they navigate this challenging time, Nick and Natalie continue to share their story, offering support to others facing similar heartaches.
