What Michael Ilesanmi’s Fundraiser Success Means For His Legal Battle
Michael Is Using The Money For The Right Reasons
Michael had initially requested $50,000 but changed the amount when he started getting backlash from viewers. He said he wanted to hire an expensive attorney after Angela filed to annul their four-year marriage. Angela went on TikTok and asked America to wake up. She told her fans that they were being scammed by Michael. She asked them to give their money to people with sick kids, sick moms, or veterans. However, as Angela saw the amount that Michael was collecting, she boldly claimed she owned half of everything in Michael’s name, including the GoFundMe money, since they were still married.
Angela also got her cast member supporters to spread false rumors about Michael using the money with ulterior motives. A photo of Michael standing next to a Mercedes-Benz was circulated online with Loren Brovarnik and Scott Wern suggesting that Michael had used the GoFundMe money to purchase the expensive car. Michael assured fans that the car belonged to a friend. Michael hired Andrea M. Johnson of Vayman & Teitelbaum from Georgia to represent him. The attorney has experience with immigration and family law, which is what Michael needed.
