Fans React: Joe Bradley’s Latest Move on ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Has Everyone Cringing

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9’s Joe Bradley has been doing his best to navigate a tricky love triangle, but the Mustique’s Lead Deckhand is giving everyone the ick with his behavior. Throughout Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, Joe and the rest of the exterior team have worked hard to ensure the charter guests are safe aboard Mustique and enjoy their time. Joe, Nathan Gallagher, and Gael Cameron have been working beneath Bosun Iain MacLean, and have made a good team throughout the season. Joe’s romantic issues, unfortunately, have colored many viewers’ perceptions of him throughout the charter season thus far.

While Joe has been able to take on the position of Lead Deckhand comfortably, Captain Sandy Yawn doesn’t feel like he’s been the best fit for the position despite the Bosun having given it to him early in the season. Professional issues, however, haven’t been the focus of Joe’s time on the show. During his stint on Below Deck Mediterranean, Joe has found himself in between two of the Stews, Ellie Dubaich and Bri Muller, as he’s romantically pursued both of them despite knowing how closely they’ve been working. Joe’s behavior has been giving Below Deck Med viewers the ick.

Joe’s Been Leading Bri & Ellie On

During the early weeks of the charter season, Joe made it clear that he was attracted to both Bri and Ellie, but he didn’t seem to plan to pursue anything with either of them. Bri knew that Ellie was interested in Joe, but Bri stayed quiet about her attraction to the Deckhand. Bri got jealous of Ellie flirting with Joe at a club, so she took charge and hooked up with the Deckhand once they were back on the boat. Joe didn’t stop, but when the Below Deck Stews fought, he led both of them on rather than being honest.

Joe Rejected Ellie’s Date Invitation

He Said He’s Never Been Asked On A Date

On the most recent episode of Below Deck MediterraneanEllie asked Joe on a date, which messed with his mind. Joe explained he wasn’t looking for anything serious, which Ellie said she felt as well, but he didn’t understand she’d wanted to get to know him a little better outside of their work environment. Ellie wanted to talk to Joe off the deck of Mustique, but Joe took her offer far too seriously. After talking during a crew night out, Ellie shared she didn’t know where Joe was coming from. He made it clear he hadn’t understood her initial offer.

Joe’s Being Disrespectful To The Women

He’s Playing Them Against Each Other

Joe’s been giving both Ellie and Bri the ick after playing them against each other during the charter season. After rejecting Ellie, Joe hooked up with Bri in the bathroom of a bar. Explaining she wasn’t happy with herself for the decision and didn’t like the way Joe made her feel, Bri struggled with the choice. Joe, in contrast, seemed happy to play the women against each other. Rather than being respectful to his Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 co-stars, Joe chose to be manipulative. Alienating both stews, Joe’s behavior will be crucial for Below Deck Mediterranean viewers to see.
