What Happened To Magda Ziomek From Below Deck Down Under Season 1?
Magda Ziomek was the Third Stew while filming Below Deck Down Under season 1, but what is she up to today? Magda had a lot of promise during her one and only season in the Below Deck franchise. She seemed to do well at first and was getting along with her Chief Stew, Aesha Scott, and the Second Stew, Tumi Mhlongo. However, things took a turn in the season when Magda became close to the boat’s public enemy number one, Chef Ryan Mckeown. The two never had anything romantic but were close on board as she was interested in someone else.
The third stew was in a relationship while on board, but she was always fighting with him over the phone. Bosun Jamie Sayed noticed and was interested in Magda but didn’t pursue anything with her because she was in a relationship. Nonetheless, Magda still had fun with some of the guys on board without crossing any severe boundaries. While Magda was fired later on in Below Deck Down Under season 1, she did bring a lot to the show in terms of drama and a captivating storyline. What is the stew up to now?
Magda Is A Yacht Broker & A Model

Since getting fired from Below Deck Down Under season 1, Magda has hung up her Stew uniform and has traded it in for a yacht broker. According to her professional Instagram account, Magda has been working hard selling and renting yachts for the last two years. In her most recent post from July 21, Magda gave her followers an inside look the OCEANBIRD, a privately owned yacht in Port de Saint-Tropez. She posted about other boats as well, trying to get people interested in what she has to offer in yachting.
Besides yachting, Magda also does some modeling on the side. On Magda’s personal Instagram account, she has shared several of her modeling shots. The former stew even did a cover in February 2023 for the magazine Presage. Magda is a hustler, whether she’s selling yachts or modeling.
Magda Travels A Lot For Work
Due to the nature of her job, Magda does have to travel a lot for work. As a yacht broker, Magda has to fly to see what condition the boat is in, what they can offer guests or buyers, and so much more to check for. Plus, since Magda is a public figure, it bodes well for her business to be photographed on the boats as well.
Madga does do this sometimes, and it works well for her business. As for modeling, she also has to fly to certain destinations for whatever the vision is for the photoshoot. For example, Magda recently did a shoot in St. Tropez.
Magda’s Journey On Below Deck Down Under
Magda joined Below Deck Down Under season 1 as the third stew, under Chief Stew Aesha and Second Stew Tumi. While Magda was on good terms with her team at first, they quickly deteriorated when Aesha began to notice that she was always on her phone with her boyfriend. Magda’s work began to suffer, and Aehsa began to notice and told Magda she needed to step up her game.
However, Magda didn’t like the criticism and would often vent to Chef Ryan, who was also getting a lot of flack from the crew. Eventually, Aesha told Captain Jason Chambers that Magda wasn’t working out, so he fired her. While this isn’t how Magda planned the season would go, she left the boat with her head held high. However, Magda didn’t return for Below Deck Down Under season 2.
Will Magda Return To Below Deck Down Under Or The Below Deck Franchise?

As for whether Magda would ever return to Below Deck Down Under or the franchise in general in the future, that seems highly unlikely. Magda has moved on from her days as a stew and is focused on being a yacht broker. Magda didn’t have the best showing on Below Deck Down Under season 1 anyway, so the likelihood of her ever returning is low.
Magda is thriving as a yacht broker and part-time model, so she likely doesn’t have time to film the show. She got to experience a Below Deck season once, and that seems like enough for her. Magda is happy where she is currently in life and doesn’t need the drama Below Deck Down Under could bring.
