Even though Below Deck Adventure season 1 finished airing nearly two years ago, Nathan stayed close to the crew. On Instagram, he shared pictures of himself hanging out with Stew Kassie after the show. They went indoor skydiving together and posed in their outfits together for one picture, while they smiled for a simple selfie in another photo. They seem very happy together and have been dating for quite some time. Nathan was one of Captain Kerry’s deckhands in Below Deck Adventure season 1. He hailed from the Caribbean and began working in the yachting industry in 2017. He joined the Below Deck franchise, eager to learn and impress his captain and the charter guests. Nathan ran into conflict quickly with deckhand Kyle. As bunkmates, they were forced to live together. Kyle was hot-tempered and quick to start conflict when Nathan asked if he could flush their toilet after each use. Kyle snapped at his roommate and threatened him with physical violence.
After the incident, Nathan went directly to Captain Kerry and told him what happened. He felt he couldn’t trust his Bosun, Lewis, to adequately address Kyle’s behavior and chose to involve Kerry immediately. The captain allowed the deckhand to resign after threatening Nathan, and he left. Kyle should have been fired for his actions, but thankfully, Nathan’s time on Below Deck Adventure was more positive after he left. While he worked on the deck, Nathan helped Faye entertain the guests when she needed to. His team player attitude served to benefit Below Deck Adventure season 1.

Nathan Should Work With Captain Kerry On Below Deck Again
Nathan could return to the Below Deck franchise. With the future of Below Deck Adventure up in the air, it’s uncertain if the spin-off will be renewed. If the show returns, the Below Deck production team would be wrong not to invite him back. Nathan was an exceptional deckhand for Captain Kerry, but above all, his positive attitude stood out. He willingly helped Chief Stew Faye entertain the guests during their trips, which he didn’t have to do. Nathan went through a negative experience at the beginning of Below Deck Adventure season 1 and handled the situation perfectly.
If Below Deck Adventure is canceled, Nathan should return for a future season of Below Deck or one of its spin-offs. Luckily for the cast of Below Deck Adventure season 1, they each have experience working with Captain Kerry, which could aid them in returning to the franchise. As the new captain of the mainstay Below Deck, he could vouch for Nathan’s potential return in a future season of the show.
Nathan has moved on from his experience on Below Deck Adventure. He’s kept strong bonds with his friends from the cast but has also shifted his focus to his flourishing relationship. Captain Kerry should invite Nathan to return in a future season of Below Deck if Below Deck Adventure isn’t renewed for season 2.
