Statler and Dempsey are a unique 90 Day Fiance pair. That’s because they are a same-sex couple, and those rarely feature on the show. Their journey had begun from Before The 90 Days spinoff, when the former moved all the way to the UK to be with the latter. While they had their fair share of awkwardness in the beginning, they became very serious by the end.
But here’s the most shocking part. TLC had roped the duo in for a season of The Other Way. But days before the premiere, Statler ended up exposing Dempsey. She mentioned how they weren’t together anymore and how she had been scamming her! Everyone was skeptical about this at first, as Statler tends to be quite dramatic. But as the show progresses, they realize she is speaking the truth!

Statler and Dempsey’s relationship was cute and awkward at the beginning. But by the time 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days wrapped up, they wanted to be serious about eachother. Then, in The Other Way Season 6, the latter did move to the UK for her partner. Days before the premiere, Statler did expose her partner for sleeping behind her back with a friend she already knew! At the same time, the US native called Dempsey a scam artist for getting her to pay for the caravan she was still living in.

As the new episodes of The Other Way are progressing, fans are realising Statler was correct. That’s because the show said moving into a caravan together was Dempsey’s idea all along. It implied that she wanted someone to pay for it all along. At the same time, Statler called herself a breadwinner, saying she was the only one with a job to support both of them. Earlier, Dempsey had resorted to selling her stuff to resort to pitching in for the caravan until her girlfriend swooped in to do so.
Then, one of Statler’s friends had said that she had the tendency to move into relationships too soon and make herself “small.” This again implied that she might have earned Dempsey’s love in a literal sense by being the one to pay for everything. 90 Day Fiance fans were shocked when the UK native said that she could “cook dinner” to contribute to their relationship while Statler had to be the one to earn from her remote job.
90 Day Fiance: Dempsey Made Statler Rent An Expensive Van & Also Play For Their Vacations?
Before The Other Way premiered, there were several pictures of 90 Day Fiance stars Statler and Dempsey vacationing. They were in places like Thailand and Sri Lanka. Now that viewers know that the former is the sole member earning in their relationship, they believe that Statler is buying Dempsey’s love by taking care of their lavish holidays.
In the new episodes, Statler also said how she had to take a loan to get the caravan on rent for the couple. She had her place of work wire transfer her the money. The star had taken a loan for the same. Dempsey was obviously going to be “contributing less” than Statler. In posts from Shabooty, Statler mentioned she was already in debt from paying for the caravan.
