Jihoon went to meet Deavan in person three months later. While they wanted a romantic first meeting, they had a nice meal at a McDonald’s. Deavan didn’t know that Jihoon had lied to her about having a job that could support their family of four. Deavan had moved to Korea so she could be a stay-at-home mom and raise the children. It wasn’t possible in America since Jihoon didn’t know English.

It was reported that Jihoon allegedly pulled out a chunk of Drascilla’s hair. Jihooninsisted he was just trying to “discipline” Drascilla. All of this drama was not seen on 90 Day Fiancé. The cameras caught Deavan and Jihoon looking like a happy couple in the finale.

Deavan had already started dating a man named Christopher “Topher” Park in America when 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 2 was on air. Deavan had actually met Topher the first time she was flying to South Korea, but they were with different people at that time. They turned out to be from the same hometown and had a mutual friend who helped them connect. Deavan was back in America from South Korea for six months when she started talking to Topher. Deavan appreciated how calm, cool, and collected he was with her kids.

She called the journey “very difficult and draining.” Deavan revealed that Jihoon had fired his lawyer and he never showed up to court nor took up visits. They’d finally made it to court after a year of extending dates for him to respond. Deavan was awarded full sole and physical custody of their son.

Deavan announced that her son Taeyang had cancer in May 2022. Taeyang was diagnosed with b-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. It’s a type of blood cancer that’s more common in young children. Deavan had informed fans that Taeyang’s recovery was going to be a two-year process and there was a high success rate of full recovery in five years. Jihoon wasn’t involved in the toddler’s recovery process. As of May 2024, Deavan shared an update revealing Taeyang, who is now five years old, “is thriving and doing amazing and has surgery soon to remove his chemo port.”

Things are “pretty serious” between Jihoon and the woman who told her TikTok followers that Jihoon is going to be visiting her soon in Norway. They both follow each other on social media. Her Instagram ID is frkeventyr and mentions her name as “Elisa Lee” in her bio. Unless they both share the same last name from before they met, it could mean that Elisa is the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star’s new wife.
