90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? star Nicole Sherbiny revealed what happened between her and Mahmoud El Sherbiny after he accused her of cheating. Nicole from Los Angeles was smitten by Egyptian man Mahmoud’s eyes and muscular frame when she first saw him. Nicole and Mahmoud got married within a year of meeting but had a lifetime of arguments ahead of them. Nicole almost filed for divorce but moved to Egypt during 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. However, she wanted Mahmoud to come to the U.S., which he did, only for him to declare he wanted a divorce.

Reddit user Hopeful_Evidence166 found evidence of Nicole and Mahmoud’s relationship possibly being over.
They shared screenshots of Nicole and Mahmoud’s Instagram accounts with fellow 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 viewers. The fan explained that they’d figured out Nicole and Mahmoud don’t follow each other on Instagram. They attached proof after scrolling through their Following lists and not finding the couple’s usernames in each other’s profiles. Interestingly, Nicole and Mahmoud still have the same last names as their user IDs. However, it appears the last name “El Sherbiny” they use is just for the show’s sake.

Mahmoud was arrested in February 2024 for alleged domestic violence against Nicole. While reporting details of the incident, TheAshley had mentioned how Mahmoud was booked under a different last name than the one he and Nicole are publicly known by. Mahmoud and Nicole are both known for being secretive, especially on social media. They don’t post as many updates about their lives off-screen as the rest of their 90 Day Fiancé co-stars do. Nicole’s last Instagram post was over a year ago, posted in April 2023. However, Mahmoud does sometimes share updates, and his recent Instagram Stories revealed his current location.
In April 2024, Mahmoud posted Instagram Stories that suggested he was no longer in America and had traveled back to Egypt. He shared a clip showcasing his hometown celebrating the festival of Eid. Mahmoud was a part of the clip surrounded by several people out on the streets, including his family. Nicole was nowhere to be seen in the clip. It confirmed that Nicole did not join Mahmoud when he went back home. Mahmoud even made a small change to his Instagram bio when he wrote, “I hate reality TV.” It could mean Mahmoud has refused to film any more spin-offs.
